Privacy Policy

Budget.R is an offline-first budgeting app. Your display name, budgets, transactions, savings information, preferences, and reminder choices stay on your device and are not sent to a Budget.R server.
Information stored on your device
Budget.R stores the following information locally:
- Your display name
- Budgets and planned transactions
- Actual income, expense, and savings entries
- App preferences and reminder choices
Budget.R does not provide user accounts or operate a backend that receives this information. If you remove the app, clear its storage, or reset your financial data, the locally stored information may be permanently deleted.
Advertising
The free version of Budget.R uses Google Mobile Ads. Depending on your consent choices, device settings, and region, Google and its partners may process device or advertising identifiers, ad interactions, approximate location inferred from network information, and diagnostic information. This processing may be used to provide and measure advertising, prevent fraud, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.
Budget.R uses Google's consent flow where required before requesting ads. Users who purchase the one-time Remove Ads option will no longer be shown ads in the app. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy and Google Business Data Responsibility guidance.
In-app purchases
The Remove Ads purchase is processed by Google Play or Apple. Budget.R does not receive or store your complete payment-card details. The applicable app store may process purchase history, payment information, and account details under its own privacy policy.
Notifications
Notifications are optional. If you enable helpful reminders, Budget.R schedules them locally on your device and does not use a remote push notification server. You can disable reminders in Budget.R or in your device settings at any time.
Your choices and data deletion
You can:
- Delete your financial information using Settings > Reset all financial data.
- Delete all locally stored app information by uninstalling Budget.R.
- Disable notifications in the app or your device settings.
- Change advertising consent through Google's consent controls when available.
- Manage purchase history through Google Play or Apple.
Security and retention
Your financial information remains in Budget.R's private on-device database until you reset it, clear the app's storage, or remove the app. No storage method is completely secure, so you should protect access to your device. Information transmitted by third-party services is protected according to those services' security practices.
Children's privacy
Budget.R is a general-audience personal-finance tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly operate an account or backend service that collects children's personal information.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when Budget.R, applicable laws, or its third-party services change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
